Daniel unexpectedly gets assistance from Frankie, a superpower dog from Heaven. Frankie's job in Heaven is to help humans on Earth rescue animals and find them forever homes. Daniel and Frankie rescue Clyde and Mittens while also encouraging Joe to walk. In reading this book, parents and children alike will observe how the power of love and kindness, embodied in friendship, helps Daniel, Joe, Clyde, and Mittens overcome difficulties.
