CELEBRATION OF THE FIAT OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

The MilAve Devotion is the recitation of 1000 Hail Mary's. We gather to celebrate the fiat of our Celestial mother. Thanks to her fiat, we have a brother, a Redeemer and the Eucharist.

This devotion started back with Saint Catherine of Bologna, a mystic and a patron saint. She was the first to recite the 1000 Hail Mary's on Christmas Eve in 1445. While she was reciting the Hail Mary's, the Virgin Mary appeared to her and placed the infant Jesus in her arms. As she expressed in her own words:

"It was just a moment."

The Blessed Virgin Mary's Fiat did change the world. The mission of this devotion is to lead the elects to Jesus Christ through Mary's spiritual strength and humility. It can be said individually or as a group in three to four hours or expanded to 25 days of 40 Hail Mary's daily.
