Lying in bed, I put in a request for sweet dreams for my girls, adding a mention of one for me.

Who’d of thought I would receive such a gift.

The dream was simple and easy, much to do with one country selling what they had grown, with another buying and eating a portion of it. Then selling the balance on to the next country, who too ate a portion. The third country then made the balance into something that was sold back to the original country to eat. The dream went on an on with its circular pattern and each country supporting the other.

There were friends in the dream. Only the two in the middle were speaking. The rest were making way with a caring intent for a lady and me to get acquainted. The two of us, just coming to understand that there was a shared affection. The joy of acceptance and the wish to be together at the center with those around us completing the sense of all things in their proper place.

Waking this morning, I felt a sense of could be, still far removed from the reality of the day. Curious how hard it is to hang on to such things. You would think that all of us would long for the same thing, wanting only to get along and to make a difference. What poison I wonder is behind the motive of anything else?
