After finding a diamond dropped from a bridge in Paris, Grace begins a search for the owner. Others, however, learn of the stone, and Grace and her best friend soon find themselves bound and gagged as two lowlifes from Nice take the diamond. Staying at her gay uncle’s boutique hotel in Eze, Grace has few prospects on recovering the property until the owner contacts her, and eventually travels south to join her efforts. Passion, heartbreak, fraud, extortion and some very nasty characters litter this fast-moving mystery/romance. The pace of the book and the many twists and turns will keep the reader engaged to the exciting end.
