David's Grannies describes the relationship between David, a young mixed-race boy, and his two grandmothers-one white and one black. One grandmother is single, quite young, and modern, while the Jamaican grandmother is more traditional, with children still at home and a house full of activity where David feels welcome and included. In our multicultural society, it is important to be open and discuss racial and cultural differences in a positive way.
