When Mecia, a loving and caring, single mother of four falls ill and is unable to provide for her family as she always has, she turns to her eldest son, Jax, to help carry the load that life has dropped down on her shoulders. Though Jax is young and not raised in the streets, he jumps off the porch with a determination to hustle hard and save his family from despair.

With each move Jax makes, he furthers his street pedigree and before long he is making his mark in the game. But some moves are costly, and the consequences can quickly turn deadly.
