She received a diploma from the Institute of Children's Literature and has been recognized in several international writing competitions, including Pacific Northwest Writers, Writers Digest, First Writers, and Women on Writing. When their sons were raised, she built a business and continued to write. With the business now established, she is embarking on a new adventure: publication.
