'Rock on By' follows the story of Craig Winter, a 4th generation carpenter, just like his father Logan. Logan Winter married his high school sweetheart, Renee Parkes. There is a dual railway directly opposite their driveway, trains regularly pass rocking on into Kanelake station [10mins, to the right] 'Winter Forth' had always been passed down to the eldest boy in the family. It will one day belong to Craig, his son and so on. 'Winter Forth Farm' has never been referred to as 'a place of magic' however at various times throughout this story.People look out over its beau ful scenery, or admire its historical monument at the back of the manor and begin recalling cherished events from their life.To the left of 'Winter Forth' lives Craig's long time best friend and now business partner, Russell Thompson. Craig had created much of his most popular items namely; kitchen cupboards and rocking chairs with wood sourced directly from 'Winter Forth.' It's been a dedicated routine for years. Trees get lopped, saplings planted in their place. Always a dedicated worker and high achiever Craig, Russell and two other friends leave to attend university together for three years.Fully qualified, Craig is so excited for the opportunity to finally work confidently alongside his father. However it is during their first work trip, that Craig meets personal coordinator, Helen McKenzie. He feels certain from that moment. That his life would never be the same again.Join me as we journey with Craig. Hearing happy times, proud moments and sad times. Grow, love and appreciate with him. That we can understand, as Craig did "That no matter what befalls us in our lives, when you have special friends and family near you, you can face any problem!"Racheal Cardiss.
