Description:

Amidst the tranquil setting of a quaint village, the spirited 13-year-old Chrissy Danvers and her loyal companion, Joan Parsons, found themselves entangled in a captivating mystery that unfolded within the hallowed walls of their village church. It was an ordinary Thursday evening in September, the air thick with anticipation for the Reverend Timas' choir practice.

????About the Author:

I was born in Lincolnshire in 1953, the youngest of three sisters. My mother was from an upper-middle-class family and my father was from a working-class family. My father had worked for my mother's father before they were married. My parents and my maternal and paternal grandparents were all farmers.

My maternal grandparents leased a reasonably large estate which included a large eighteenth-century house and a substantial farm. We spent a lot of time at my grandparents when we were growing up which led to an adventurous upbringing, always exploring the large house and substantial gardens which created a unique imagination that I still have with me today.
