Sylvester's First Friend is a collaborative masterpiece, based on the Verbal AUTISM app, that brings author and special education pioneer Amir Arami's vision to life through the collective creativity and talent of high school students. Amir worked closely with a group of enthusiastic co-authors and illustrators, guiding them with his decade of teaching experience across various ages, abilities, backgrounds, and grade levels. This project was an opportunity for students to engage in a real-world application of their skills, contributing to a project that has the potential to touch the lives of many.

Amir's role extended beyond mere supervision; he was a mentor, fostering an environment of collaboration, creativity, and mutual respect.
