Virginia Fights a Bear is a true story of a very brave Great Pyrenees puppy who, along with her brother Rooster, was raised at Horseshoe Ridge Farms. Two older dogs trained Virginia and Rooster to protect a large herd of goats. Virginia and Rooster grew up to be great protectors. One day, Virginia had to put her training to the test. A large black bear entered the pasture and threatened the safety of the herd. Virginia sprang into action and challenged the bear. She was fearless!
