The story is about the life experiences of a person who, from early childhood, was made to feel that world was a jaded place because of the dysfunctional family structure she was born in and the treatment she received from the people she should have been able to trust to help and protect her. Growing up, she constantly had to deal with unscrupulous characters that did not have her best interest at heart. Her grandmother was a praying woman who loved her and ensured she learned who Jesus was. She had encouraged her to call on Him during troubling times.
Having been snatched away from Grandma as a young child, all hope left when she later heard that Grandma had passed away. Parents and their associates are co-conspirators in her possible future demise. Feeling hopeless, she remembers Grandma encouraging her to Pray.?One small Prayer can change a life for a lifetime! She was a witness who encouraged herself, prayed, and became a grateful recipient of God's sustaining hand. She went from hopelessness to hope, not wishful thinking but "confident expectation" as God brought her through one episode after another. God's sustaining hand offers hope. Hope is a firm assurance regarding unclear and unknown things and a knowing based on one's belief that God does answer Prayer.
