It's almost Halloween and time for the grand re-opening of Bridge House. But Misty's struggling with her new role, and good help is hard to find ... unless it's a charming ghost pirate and a flea-ridden werewolf. With the worst of hurricane season over and the repairs finally completed, Misty is ready to embrace her new position at Bridge House. And though she has doubts about Dimitri's intentions, the surly troll seems glued to her side. Now, the charming and mischievous pirate Jean Lafitte has returned from beyond the grave, and he's determined to dock his ship in Misty's harbor.

But Misty has bigger fish to fry. Her new porter has fleas and her Pop keeps sneaking his garish collection of seashells into the china cabinet.
