Lynn Accongio Soles is all about creating beauty. An award-winning artist and art teacher, her work has been featured in galleries and public murals throughout the Carolinas. Lynn also owns and operates Permanent Beauty LLC, which offers permanent makeup, paramedical tattooing, and body art. She has been honored with an Excellence in Business award and nominated as her community's Citizen of the Year.
In her Art Positive studio, she nurtures and challenges people of all ages in their artistry. Many of her students have grown into award-winning artists. She implemented accreditation of the Art Enrichment Program for the Association of Christian Schools, Inc. Lynn finds that when she helps people learn to create art, they also learn to create the beautiful life they want. As Lynn sees it, art is not just a way to experience "going with the flow" of your imagination and instincts. Studying art encourages you to practice new skills, starting small, and experience yourself growing toward larger goals, seeing them come alive before you.
After her 2022 cancer diagnosis, Lynn found a renewed focus on how God creates internal beauty among those who love Him. The demands of chemotherapy and other treatments set new limits on what she could do, but also encouraged her to focus more on tending the spiritual growth that would outlast her earthly lifespan.
Lynn is married to her soulmate Chris, who works in the construction industry. He's a creative guy in his own right, whose creative projects have included designing an addition to the little farmhouse they live in and creating furnishings for their home from architectural salvage. They partner on artworks where Lynn paints an image or design on top of a poured resin design Chris has created.
Lynn enjoys her family and now being a grammy. She and Chris are active in their local church.
