I Was Not in Control

I sat on the edge of my bed trying to process the dream. I took deep breaths, tried refocusing on looking for something good in it. I had lost my Cinderella of 51 years. All my medical training was not enough to prevent her outcome. But how she handled her death taught me who was in control. Winston H. Hunt received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Medical College of Georgia, School of Allied Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Program. He has over fifty years of experience in the healthcare field working in areas from ambulance attendant, nursing home orderly, Navy hospital corpsman, ending his career in Family Practice/Geriatrics as a Physician Assistant.
