Multiple Lines of Defense

Evidence found after an Iraqi-U.S. airbase attack suggests another, imminent attack--on U.S. soil. On high alert, FBI Special Agent Beh Dabiri follows a lead near the New York Botanical Garden where he meets Soussan, a phytochemist, seemingly compelled by her cancer research. Conflicted by evidence suggesting Soussan's involvement in the plot and his own attraction to her, Beh's resolve to thwart an attack leads to unexpected encounters with plants and his own Iranian culture toward a surprising and suspenseful conclusion.
