Echo of the Moon

James D Armstrong

A devastating range fire and hot summer winds take their toll on Triple A Ranch. While the devastation is being delt with, in need of better grazing land the Armstrong brothers purchase more property to the north near Cheyenne Wells. With their scout, 'Coyote Woman', Retha, leading the way north, their quest is hampered by outlaws, rustlers, robbers and kidnappers. But the hombres' pursuer, former army scout and a Sioux native could have the situation under control allowing the Armstrong's travels to move forward.

At the same time, Triple A township is handling hardships of its own. Gold seekers, a mix of strangers and a crooked marshal are only a few.

Once the Armstrong's are settled close to Cheyanne Wells, Coyote Woman becomes obsessed with the curse of The Echo of the Moon. Carl Armstrong tries to convince Retha it's an old wives tale. When he fails, he agrees to go with her on her journey to pursue her fears, but his father Joe Armstrong doesn't want the young man to make the trip alone, so Joe's brother Charles accompanies the twosome.

Strange and dangerous things happen on this incredible expedition. Do they listen closely to the warning of the sacred clowns? Or will this be a quest that brings them to a fatal ending?
