This picture book is cleverly composed of several rhyming and silly tales. The tales are mostly told by the characters, Jack, Jill, Ted, and the turkeys of Turkey Hill. The books layout is similar to a simplified chapter book capturing the different voices of its characters. Many colorful synonyms such as horse-feathers, poppycock, dribble, and hogwash are spued about by turkey talking birds.
