London, 1893. Technology is booming, but mystic creatures and their human liaisons, the Ember Bloods, are becoming scarce. With this decline, the wisdom of the past is fading away, leaving mankind with an uncertain future. Meanwhile, Prowessors, feared for their lack of mystic bonds, grow in number, their secretive nature branding them as outlaws.
