Moon Child Rising

On the run from the evil Jackie Blue, Carol Ann and her mother find respite in a tiny town deep in the swamps of Louisiana. On her sixteenth birthday Carol Ann finds her mother murdered. Mama Queen, descended from Haitian Voodoo royalty, convinces the local authorities to let Carol Ann live with her in the candy apple red house in the swamps. Soon after being taken to Mama's in the candy apple red house in the swamps, Carol Ann discovers her 'intuition' comes from deep within. She is a sacred 'moon child'. But all is not as it seems at Mama Queen's. Her house itself radiates power and her youngest daughter Mimosa's fiercely protective kitten is a threat in a way of its own.

Detective Clayton James is a man on a mission. He vows to find Jackie Blue and make the man pay for the grizzly death of his sister. When Blue kidnaps Mimosa, it takes more than Clayton to save her. It takes Voodoo magic, the help from spirit animals and the rising power of the 'moon child', Will their combined efforts be enough to save Mimosa and send the demons from Hell back where they belong?
