She has won a variety of awards for her writing, including the Editor's Choice Award, Poet of Merit Award, Superior Award, and Superior with Invitation Award at the Oklahoma State Assembly of God Fine Arts Festival and a Superior at the National Assembly of God Fine Arts Festival.
