Covie is a happily married mother of one who's trying to navigate a new world. A nasty pandemic infected all plush toys, leaving them animated, angry, and dangerous. Entire sections of cities have been taken over by the demonic plushes. Machete-wielding teddy bears and stuffed unicorns with razor-sharp teeth are the tip of the iceberg. The worst part? They're nearly impossible to kill.

After a chance encounter with a claw machine, Covie's life is upended and she wakes up as an eleven-year-old girl. How will she ever explain it? Determined to get her life back, she searches the most treacherous parts of the city to find Plush Zero-the head plush.
