When Jeff Stetson's Daddy decides to try manufacturing Jeans in Thailand, Jeff decides he ought to go see the operation for himself. As Jeff begins to travel the world in pursuit of justice and a great piece of steak, it dawns on him that all is not as it seems: a shadow organization known only as A.S.P. is lurking, perhaps smuggling a white powdery substance into the United States... could it be baking soda? This trilogy volume includes Book 1, Beatdown in Bangkok; Book 2, Mayhem in Marrakesh; and Book 3, Pandemonium in Paradise, plus a bonus short story, "A Very Stetson Christmas" ... which sets up the second volume in the Stetson Jeff Adventures. Follow Jeff from Southeast Asia to the western Sahara Desert to Amish country in Pennsylvania as he creeps closer and closer to discovering what A.S.P. is really up to. Jeff is guided by a great deal of wisdom passed down by Jeremiah P. Johnstone's book Ranger Discoveries, which Jeff seems to have memorized in full.
This satirical action/adventure comedic fiction will take you back to the 1980s when MacGyver was on TV. Our Hero, Stetson Jeff is inspired by Walker, Texas Ranger, and Forrest Gump, Inspector Clouseau of Pink Panther fame, with a dash of Crocodile Dundee, and The Witness. Each book is set in a new country in the same vein as the great French-language comic heroes Asterix and Obelix. Don't miss Volume Two, when Jeff travels to Belize, Spain, and beyond!
