A Time To Shine

Daniel joined the Navy in 1939 when he witnessed German U-boats sinking ships from a convoy headed to Britain that had launched from Charleston, SC. He even had a Captains ticket, but when he was inducted, they didn’t seem to care. This is the story of an underdog who had his moment to shine when all the officers have died, and he’s the only one that can help them fight the fire and the enemy, plus the ocean and the elements.
