Demetris (Dee) Bryant was born in Jacksonville, Florida. She started her young adult life as a soldier in the U.S. Army. She joined the military to gain independence, learn a skill, travel the world, and to get money for college. Dee joined the military as an enlisted soldier after high school. She served in both the enlisted and officers' ranks. Her most challenging endeavor was attending the Army Airborne School and successfully graduating.?Her greatest achievement was to proudly wear the uniform and serve her country. Dee retired in 2006 from the Army with 21 years of faithful and honorable service. She currently works in government service in the area of cyber operations. She holds a Master of Business Administrations degree, and she also holds a certification in Business from Georgetown University.Dee is a loving wife and the proud parent of two beautiful daughters. She spent nine years focusing as an active parent in her youngest daughter's classrooms volunteering, and building strong relationships with administrators, teachers, parents and students. It did not take Dee long to realize that many of our young people are seeking encouragement, guidance, and direction. Dee pondered for years asking God how to give back to our youth. It seems that God has answered her prayers starting with her two books.?Dee is a caring parent that wants to give back. She is putting action behind her faith, as she moves out with a spirit of excellence, to help make a difference in the lives of our young youth.Dee's passion is to inspire and to motivate our youth towards positive change. Dee is developing interactive talks that are relatable to real-life challenges in hopes of stirring up the faith of our youth to put God first. Dee believes in her heart that our kids are special, one of a kind, and unique in God's eyes and this is the message she aims to communicate.?She believes that our youth are indeed our future and it is up to caring adults to help make a difference. Dee is deeply honored every time she has an opportunity to speak before our youth with a pure heart. There's no question about it; this is Dee's way of giving back while glorifying God. Dee resides in Maryland with her husband Gary and two beautiful daughters, Deletris and Mattia.
