The material presented here, both the introduction as well as the comments regarding each picture, was compiled from two informal presentations by Dr. Paul Scharff given to individuals interested in Ehrenfried Pfeiffer and his life work. The material has been edited to the extent that appropriate portions of each presentation have been combined so that aspects of each painting are as broadly represented as possible from Dr. Scharff's perceptions.

The short biography of Ehrenfried Pfeiffer, which he gave at the beginning, was a sharing of some aspects of his life in acquainting those present with a little background.
