A GAGGLE OF GEESEA Joy Forest Cozy Mystery Joy Forest is working to beat the clock on a looming deadline, when she gets a call from her friend, Sophia, traumatized by the disappearance of the Goose Girl Statue, which has the reputation of spontaneously healing any human ailment.

Joy has never heard of the Goose Girl Statue. But that doesn't prevent her from soon becoming involved up to her eyelashes in the mystery. Where has the statue gotten to, and by what means?

As the suspects mount, Joy tries to persuade the caretaker of the Goose Girl Statue, Miss Star Moon, owner of a church and its attached property she had turned into an animal sanctuary, that the ancient, mystical statue did not apport back to India, as she's convinced. Joy is equally convinced it was removed by human hands.

A GAGGLE OF GEESE takes place in the Cascade foothills of Washington state, in the near-future world of 2032, a world of eccentric small-town people and peculiar small town events. Although the times are somewhat different, people are ever the same ... lovable or loathsome, truthful or deceitful, generous or selfish, courageous or timid, loyal or treacherous, but always a mystery!
