Christie O'Mara has been commissioned to transform a church into a tropical garden for a socialite's wedding-a task that requires her floral expertise. With the help of her ditzy Aunt Doris, she creates a magical setting despite a difficult mother-of-the-bride and a frantic ten days' notice.

At the equally exquisitely decorated country club, a groomsman's partner collapses. When a doctor suspects belladonna poisoning, the family is quick to blame Christie's Flower Shoppe.

This is the Shoppe's second scandal in six months, and Christie starts to wonder whether she'll be in business long enough to celebrate its one year anniversary. The newspaper headline Killer Flowers Strike Again doesn't help.

With Chief of Police Conway eager to make this an open-and-shut case, the only way to stay afloat is to weed out a killer.
