Devo, in order to do his friend a favor, attempts to duplicate Julie's grandmother's book; Dreamer's Book of Bedtime Stories.
Everything goes wrong when Devo's incantation not only produces a duplicate copy of the book but it also produces a duplicate copy of Julie.
Devo is able to temporarily hides the duplicate Julie in his magical trunk but he knows full well that at some future date he must deal with the situation.
The problem gets complicated when a previous owner of Devo's magical trunk comes to claim some of his possessions that were stored in the trunk.
