Bishop’s Pride

A runaway serf, his master, and a Norman cleric all converge on St. Edmundsbury, setting the whole town whispering and bringing a new mystery to light. The third chronicle in the St. Edmundsbury Mysteries follows Aileen and Robert, as well as their families and friends, as they search for a stolen embroidery and the answer to a mystery that reaches far beyond the abbey walls. Aileen's mother may hold the key to identifying the tapestry, but the friends must hurry if they are to solve the mystery before someone gets hurt.

The legendary Bayeux Tapestry, which today hangs in the town which has given it its name, is incomplete. The last panels were torn off the work at some time in history and either hidden or destroyed. Is it possible that the answer to their fate lies in the history of St. Edmundsbury and its abbey?
