Poems of spiritual insight that reflect personal experience, often expressed in concepts from Eastern metaphysical philosophy as well as with interfaith concepts and ideas about our common humanity. Written by a student of yoga and Indian spiritual thought since the mid-1970s, and influenced by studies at an interfaith seminary since having been ordained as an interfaith minister in 2011. A good number of these pieces in rhyming verse, while some, like the Conscious Constitution may not really qualify as a poem at all, though it certainly takes poetic license in combining Eastern spiritual concepts with a sort of a mash-up of elements of the Constitution of the United States, and the Gettysburg Address.
These renderings are gleaned from life, as expressions of personal-mostly inner-experience. They reflect themes, events, and musings that became so strong as to bid the author to commit them to this form, and now to share them with readers.
