She likened his sweeping of the spotlights until he made them disappear to the challenges of one’s life.
She lived a season filled with prestige while married to an officer and gentleman. A devastating divorce, followed by despair. Then there were seasons when she was homeless due to challenging events in her life. Never feeling accepted. In a crowd you will see her hanging back-observing all around. Unless someone gets her in a conversation, they will never find out the depth of her personality and her Christian faith.
