Kitten tries to make the best of being a street cat, but all he really wants is to be warm, fed, and loved. His friend Tiger thinks he should live at the zoo with him, but this proves to be a very difficult thing to do. Kitten doesn't have stripes like Tiger, so he tries to find some-by scraping at the crosswalk lines in the road, wrapping a black ribbon around himself, and rolling in mud, but nothing works. Then on Christmas Eve, Kitten meets Santa Claus, who asks him what his biggest wish is. Will Kitten finally get what he has always wanted?
