Poems by Carol Ann Nasta, who was born and bred in Queens , NYC , and is a lifelong New Yorker . She received BFA and MS degrees from Hunter College , and taught mainly early childhood at PS 155 , Brooklyn . She likes to say the kids brought out
‘the child within , ’
and she enjoyed her career . She’s a jazz
enthusiast; has travelled a lot; has been a tour guide at the American Museum of Natural
History for over thirty years; she respects and loves animals and is studying Italian, the language of her heritage. High Season: Poems and Musings is her first collection of poetry. The poems were written between the late 1960s and contemporary times.
