My Body Is My Own is an introduction to bodily autonomy. Through exploring various scenarios, it teaches young children that it is okay to tell loved ones to step back if their actions are uncomfortable. This book seeks to ease the difficulty parents may have in trying to teach their children about self-worth using simple language and culturally diverse characters.
