Danny is struggling through grief after the death of his twin brother. His father has abandoned his family, his mother is lost in her own grief, and his best friend just wants him to move on so they can have a great senior year at Woodside High.

The only person that seems to understand his pain is the fortune-teller at the local carnival, but her words haunt him:
