Through this book, and the 40-Day Challenge, you are invited to develop and demonstrate the discipline of an athlete and live like a champion today! This is who you were designed to be and have been saved to become. This is the life the Holy Spirit empowers you to live – as a member of God’s championship team! As the Apostle Paul says about God’s team in Romans 8:37, But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.

40 short devotionals on 40 promises of God that will direct you to meditate to cultivate the mindset of an athlete – God’s athlete! The challenge is for you to apply and internalize the promises of God so that you can run the right play at the right time as the Coach’s (God’s) voice directs the team to play like champions together. Athletes are encouraged to utilize the provided memory cards in the Appendix in order to accomplish this challenge.

A more thorough biblical and theological framework for this challenge and its effectiveness in our lives through a deeper study of 2 Peter 1, which will help you learn how to live like a champion today, beyond the scope of the 40-Day Challenge.
