Once again, the Parabaloni are on a careening run to stop terrorist plots and save lives on two different continents. The clock is ticking and world war hovers in the wings. While the rest of the team is on that detail, a routine business matter sends Vincent digging into his past, where he finds more than he intends. As they work to rescue the world, events draw the two matters together, and Simeon realizes the complications are building into a challenge: one laid out just for them. Who is targeting them and why?
