Living In Two Languages is a journey through memory, the power of the word, and the capacity for resilience by students in the Spanish for Heritage Speakers at Chemeketa Community College. These are life stories, where the protagonists experience the complex realities of immigration, violence, discrimination, and linguistic oppression. However, in a brave narrative, marked by deep introspection, they make adversity their potential. In a public way, the students make their voices transcend and their stories endure, as an act of love to their mother tongue.
