Because history is nothing more than a natural footprint left by the people who walked it before we did, the telling of their lives should be conveyed to the listener in the same spirit that footprint was pressed into the earth. This disenchanting side of human beings was well-thought through by those we call our founding fathers. The truth is, they were helped, but that should not take away from the brave men and women who paid an enormous price for the right to be free from the mandates prescribed by kings and other oligarchs. Sea Buzzards is a collection of stories about some of those people. Although some are more famous than others, they indeed lived. It is because of these men and women, and thousands more just like them, that we today have the right to speak the truth. Something that history has taught us.
