Covid-19 has paused the travel plans of Anglophiles all over the world. We find ourselves cut off from the place we love the most - Britain - its culture, its history, and its landscape. But we can still go there in our minds. Out of this deep well of longing for Britain, the Anglophile Vignettes were born. This book is a series of vignettes about people, things, and places in Britain. Some are very short; some are quite a bit longer. Some of them were originally published on Anglotopia.net.; the rest were written specifically for this special little book, and you can’t read them anywhere else. Each little scene or story is like a meditation on something lovely about Britain. Almost like prayers - the prayers that we’re all having, hoping that we can all return to the country we love so much as soon as possible. It’s still going to be a while. So, I want you to have this collection of memories, stories, and experiences to help take you there in your mind until you can go in person again.
