Dr. Joel Vance is an Associate Professor of Business at King University. His career started with the Marine Corps, and later, he became a Naval Officer. In addition, he has held executive management positions at several different companies. He has owned several businesses and currently owns a Tutor Doctor Franchise that ranks in the top twenty-five. Dr. Vance has published several articles such as Employee Turnover, a Management Perspective in various business journals. His doctoral degree in business and his vast management experience helps him teach business issues that plague organizations in a way that students can relate to. He combines theory with practical applications in real-world settings. His passion for teaching allows him to mentor many students who want to be entrepreneurs or managers.
