Soup for Lunch

In this humorous, imaginative story, a young boy and his sister enjoy a warm bowl of soup on a chilly, rainy day. Once the boy finishes his soup, he falls asleep–and suddenly, his sister’s bowl of soup has become a river that begins filling up the entire house! It sweeps into the living room and picks up dolls, trucks, and trains, then heads into the den and picks up the family dog, still asleep on her bed. Trying to stay afloat, the boy grabs onto a noodle, while Mommy uses a carrot. Luckily, the boy has an idea about how to get rid of the river of soup, and soon, everything is back to the way it was.
