Willow and her fox spirit companion find themselves in the port city of Tamiris, beneath the watchful eye of a smoking volcano. But things aren' t as they seem and a chance encounter with Master Chen, Gideon' s foster father, leads to a revelation of Gideon' s tragic past. When the spirit of the volcano erupts in anger, Gideon is forced to confront the truths of his foster-father' s previous life, even as Willow discovers that sometimes love doesn' t always conquer all.
