Dorota Maslowska is a Polish writer, playwright, and journalist. She was 19 when her debut novel Snow White and Russian Red was published and garnered massive critical acclaim in Poland. The book was translated into more than 20 languages, it won the prestigious Paszport Polityki Prize and was made into a movie directed by Xawery Zulawski. Since then, she has written several novels and plays and has become a celebrated literary figure in Poland.
