The Curse of Prometheus is part of the Promethean legend. It centers on Pandora the first human woman, created out of clay. She marries Emitheus, Prometheus’s brother, even though he warns him not to accept Zeus’s gifts. Pandora opens the jar which she receives as a present from Zeus. Out comes the afflictions of mankind. The poem is based in the form of Medieval plays, and surrealist art. I have studied Middle English, Renaissance, Romantic, and Modern poetry. All are used in poems.
