I have always had a passion for traveling. I enjoy discovering this world’s beauty, wilderness and adventure with new friends. This book is yet another journey of two people. A husband and wife with hearts and minds together and heart and mind disconnect better known as clinical depression. We worked hard over the many years to understand each other. My husband who suffered with clinical depression asked me many times how to be happy and I did not understand how someone could ask such a question. The truth is the sufferers of this disease do not have the tools to understand happiness and joy. Clinical depression is no one’s fault. It can have to do with genetics, lifestyle, diet, injuries, illness, especially cardiovascular disease, and etc. Through our marriage I saw brilliance and decay. The subject matter discussing clinical depression and my personal experience observing this illness first hand is challenging yet it is important to share with my readers because mental illness has reached epidemic proportions throughout the world. It is critical our stories reach the public so we know - We Are Not Alone!
