A fresh translation of the New Testament with special attention to important theological words. Words in the Faith/Believe word group are consistently translated as faithful, faithfulness, and to hold faithful. Words in the Righteousness/Justification word group are consistently translated justice, righteousness, administration of justice, and to administer justice. The Greek noun for law is translated in its basic Greek meaning of custom into several senses according to context, what is customary, a social norm, or the customary norm, and of course the Law where the text means the Law. This translation also translates most words and names of Hebrew origin in a Hebrew pronunciation. For example, Yeshua instead of the traditional Jesus. As marked in ancient Greek texts, all divine names and titles are marked with a nomina sacra sign. This is almost the only translation that does not include the Thus he declared all foods clean error in Mark 7, and one of only a few that consistently renders the resurrection day as the first of the Sabbaths rather than first day of the week. The translation is strictly literal, and also unlike any translation, the Greek verb tenses are rendered with an unmatched fidelity to the temporal value and progressive or non progressive aspect of the verb. The author has also done a great deal of textual critical restoration of the text, a combination of the Western, Byzantine, and Alexandrian text types.
