When Medusa left home to explore the world, she hoped for adventure, new wonders and excitement, and maybe even romance. Instead, she encountered a world being carved into antagonistic fiefdoms by capricious Olympians, and bands of humans desperate to receive any God's blessing, no matter the cost, if it eased the burdens of their harsh lives even a little.
