The Peoples’ Champ

From the South-side streets of Chicago to The MIchigan Halls of Justice, Author Carl Allen shares his personal battle and encounter with Family Court and Children's Family Services. This profound story begins with Carl's testimony of a damaged adoption system to his personal fight for his very own parental rights. While fighting a battle inside the ring (the courtroom) against "THE SYSTEM" he witnessed many flaws, the misuse of qualified immunity, injustice, ineffective counsel, and perjury to separate innocent children from their parents, especially in low-income communities.
